About ARO Testnet

ARO’s journey unfolds across three stages: Previewnet, Testnet (where we are now), and Mainnet, each with a unique mission.

  • Previewnet: Welcomes you to discover ARO, try its features, and prepare for the next phase while we recruit community members and identify early contributors.
  • Testnet: Kicks off ARO’s initial expansion, testing real-world, commercialized resource delivery with numerous edge nodes across regions, and refining technology and economics, in a live test mode.
  • Mainnet: Signals ARO’s full launch, expanding node coverage and offering massive scale edge services, embodying our “Agentic Edge” vision.

Testnet S2 (Sprint2)

You are now in Testnet S2 (Sprint 2).

In S2, we conduct deeper network testing while introducing key changes from S1 to better align with our long-term vision.

  • We added ARO Desktop (for all major desktop OS) and ARO Mobile (runs on everyday smartphones). This is a major upgrade from S1, making participation accessible to ordinary people without specialized software or expensive hardware.
  • The S2 incentive system has been significantly upgraded to strongly reward genuine residential resources. If you’re using typical home internet and devices, you have a clear advantage.
  • S2 reinforces ARO’s move toward the “Agentic Edge,” turning “Let AI work for you” into a practical reality for regular users. Soon, running an ARO node will give you your own AI agent that earns rewards more effectively than today.
  • S2 extends the overall Testnet duration for more thorough development and testing, with correspondingly higher incentives. Even if you join now, you’re still very early—the real competition hasn’t started yet.

How Incentives In Testnet S2 Work​

In Season 2 (S2), we follow a simple principle to incentivize participants: Jade for Resource Growth, and Badge for Community Growth.

Jade is a points system: whenever you contribute resources to ARO, you earn Jade points.

During S2, a total of 100,000,000 Jade points will be released daily for distribution to node operators.

  • 5,000,000 Jade points are specifically allocated to operators running ARO Lite.
  • The remaining 95,000,000 Jade points are distributed to operators of standard ARO nodes (including ARO Desktop, ARO Mobile, ARO Pod, and ARO Client).

The Testnet also features a Badge System, which awards Badges to users who contribute to the network, community, and broader ARO ecosystem. Eligible contributions for earning Badges are diverse, ensuring that exceptional efforts are recognized and rewarded.

Badges are non-transferable. Check your Badge collection on the Dashboard->Campaign page.

Future Drops​

Both Jades and Badges are key metrics for determining eligibility for future $ARO drops after the Testnet ends.

0.8% of total $ARO token supply will be allocated per month as S2 moves forward, in additional to the previous 5% allocation in the S1 stage.

    Create an ARO account, connect your social accounts, follow our X/Twitter, and join our Telegram group and Discord channels.

  2. Deploy and Run an ARO Node—The More the Better!

    The Testnet is the ultimate stage for your ARO Nodes, regardless of type. Set up and optimize your ARO Nodes to compete for daily Jade reward emissions!

  3. Get Extra Bonus from the Referral Program

    Invite friends through the Referral Program to earn commissions: 15% from direct referrals and 2% from second-tier invites in Jades. High-quality referrals may also earn you exclusive Badges.

  4. Contribute More to the ARO Community
